So we finally got to put our patten's we had cut into use......we get to make a bodice!!!
Today we contructed the main body and to be honest I was really nervous. I have made garments in the last few years but I knew now it had to be perfect. The finishing and stiches needed to be neat, even though my work is always neat as I am a perfectionist, when the pressure is on to get somthing right I always panic.
However I feel that today went well and I took my time with the machine as I am still learning to work with the industrial machines.
Hopefully fitting the arms next week will be as good....fingers crossed!!!
